The late Ambassodor Orie Rogo Manduli was burried today 9th October at her home in Saboti, Tranzoia county. The funeral service which saw women wear head gadgets same to hers in her honour attracted very many people including the political class. Among those that attended were Cs for defence Hon Eugene Wamalwa, Rift valley commissioner George Natembeya, Kiminini Member of parliament Hon Chris Wamalwa, Saboti Mp Hon Caleb Amisi, Business man Khetia among very many other dignitaries.
Orie Rogo being a politician, his burrial did not mis the political platform. Many leaders took on stage prasing her legacy while also commending on the current political state of Tranzoia county. There emerged two groups which seemed to be rivals. One group allied to Kiminini Mp Chris Wamalwa and the other allied to Rift valley commissioner George Natembeya. It should be noted that the two have already declared their interest in the Tranzoia Gubernatorial seat.
Kiminini member of parliament Chris Wamalwa asked Natembeya to resign and have fair political contest. But this seemed to have engered many who were in support of Natembeya. When it came the turn of Hon Natembeya to speak, he thrashed Chris centiments sayjng that chris does not qualify to be a governor. He pointed out that Chris is a project of Hon Wetangula and should not move round lamenting. He also added that Chris is not a resident of Tranzoia. On his side The Cs of Defence Hon Eugene rubished Chris Wamalwa's centiments and urged residents to walk together with Natembeya.
