Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has been been receiving treatment for over two weeks now after he started complaining of stomach ache.
And now Mike Sonko is requesting for the court to grant him permission to travel to South Africa for Hip Replacement surgery. However, if Mike Sonko is to travel to South Africa, Dr. Robert Van Plank is the only professional doctor who is chosen or recommended to attend to him.
Meanwhile according to the reports getting at Opera News Desk, Dr. Robert is set to receive Sonko in Johannesburg because right now he can't travel.
"I have spoken with Dr. Plank on phone and email about taking up the case and he has not been to Kenya for the past 2 years and says he won't be coming anytime soon", read the report.
However, Dr. Esther Wekesa, said that his hip has already developed arthritis and is in urgent need of a replacement surgery.
"If left untreated, a vascular necrosis can lead to servere complications such as borne collapse or even fracture", a document written by Dr. Nekesa read.
