It is now clear that we are only remaining with 262 to the long awaited 2022 general elections. Politicians and other aspirants have already started to campaign in their places and across the country. The presidential seat has attracted the likes of Deputy President William Ruto, Jimmy Wanjiki, ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi, Kalonzo Musyoka, ODM party leader Raila Odinga, Justin Muturi, Reuben Kigae, Dr. Alfred Mutua and Dr. Mukhisa Kitui.
As per now, the race is between Raila Odinga, William Ruto and One Kenya Alliance principals. William Ruto has been touring every corner of the country despite the political standings of those areas. Yesterday Ruto toured Nyanza region which is a political background of Raila Odinga. Apart the incidence of Kondele in Kisumu, Ruto was warmly welcomed in the region.
This is a lesson to other presidential aspirants who have been majorly put their efforts in particular araes. For instance, Raila Odinga has been making freguent visits to Central part of the country which have a large number of registered voters. The Presidential campaigns are generally bigger than other campaigns and presidential aspirants need to tour every part of the country.
