"Stop political witch hunt" former governor Wangamati slams Bungoma Governor Lusaka over allegations

New governors were sworn in just recently after the eight August general election. We have been seeing great work among them as each one of them have been trying to cope with hard economic times and make their counties better places to live in. The council of governors was also unveiled where Kirinyaga governor Anne Waiguru was elected the council of governors chairperson. Most people have high expectations on her. The likes of Kisii government honourable Simba Arati initiated the sacking of ghost county workers which was a fair move to everyone.

Today the former Bungoma county governor honourable Wangamati has turn down the allegations filed by Bungoma government against him whereby he is alleged to have stolen Ksh 19million look. The county describes the theft as having been conducted by use of ghost university students. The former governor has termed the allegations as political witch hunt and has no light in it. He told the governor to stop.
