The ruling party has been ruthless in dealing with disloyal and undisciplined members which prompted the MPs to threaten to withdraw their monthly cash deductions from the ruling party.
The legislators led by then-Deputy party Secretary-General and Oscar Sudi indicated to stop funding the ruling party and focus on developing their new party ( UDA).
However, the MPs seems to have made a u-turn on their decision as Party Secretary-General Raphael Tuju confirmed the party received all cash reduction from Jubilee legislators.
This might be a setback to the deputy President who wants focused personnel to develop and help his UDA party to grow and help him win the 2022 general elections.
The MPs are playing a safe strategy to avoid attracting disciplinary actions from Jubilee which might their next year's general election ambitions
