According to a recent post by Statehouse Kenya, President Samia Suluhu Hassan was on Tuesday evening joined by a cross-section of Kenyan Muslim women for Iftar at State House, Nairobi ahead of a State Banquet hosted in her honor by President Uhuru Kenyatta and First Lady Margaret Kenyatta.
President Samia Suluhu arrived in the country this morning. She received a warm welcome at JKIA from the Foreign affairs CS Raychelle Omamo and statehouse spokesperson, Kanze Dena Mararo. Samia was later driven to statehouse Kenya where he met President Uhuru Kenyata and other delegates.
Suluhu took the presidency in Tanzania after the death of John Pombe Magufuli. She is the first female president in Tanzania and East Africa. She is expected to take Tanzania to another level. May the Lord guide her as she delivers what is expected of her.
