The forthcoming General Election is definitely going to be one of its kind far from all the others that have been. Right from the top hierarchy, the competition is fierce and utterly unpredictable. Another coveted seat that has garnered much concentration is the Nairobi Women Representative Seat.

The incumbent Nairobi Women Rep. Esther Passaris is just winding up her first term and is definitely in the plans for yet another term. Among them is the former holder of the office Rachael Shebesh who has vowed to make a mighty comeback for her former position.

Moreover, Former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's daughter is on the limber ready to face off her opponents in this coveted position. Well, a fruit never falls far from the tree Saumu sonko has been actively involved in her rebranding ahead of the general elections, it is reported that she even changed her phone number and deleted all her Instagram photos a move that she claimed was unleashing her new self. The first daughter to Mike Sonko confirmed this bid at an interview in one of the local Radio stations in the country.

Media personality Betty Kyallo is no exception. In the recent past, most journalists have successfully secured major political seats in the country and seemingly that's the route Betty Kyalo is heading. Philanthropist and Politician Alinur Mohammed confirmed in an interview that indeed he is mentoring and grooming Betty for this hotly contested seat.

It's a battle of wits for these four icons, with each and every candidate seemingly powerful. City Politician Karen Nyamu had also announced her bid for this seat. It's only time that will tell.
