Few weeks to the last general election, Hon Kipruto Arap Kirwa who was the then Vice Chair of UDA party made unexpected move by ditching president William Ruto's party for Azimio team. His move astonished Kenya Kwanza supporters at that time as they believed that his unity with Raila Odinga was going to bring further political division in Riftvalley, something that could have benefited ODM party leader Hon Raila Odinga.
He joined Riftvalley's rebels including former cherangany MP Hon Joshua Kutuny, Hon Mishra Kiprop and KANU party leader Hon Gideon Moi among others to preach Azimio Gospel in their region. But unfortunately, UDA wave overwhelmed them and they were beaten without mercy by Ruto's team.
Now, report emerging indicates that he has publicly revealed why he decided to ditched UDA team despite the fact that he was among the top officials of the party.
According to the report from Emoo FM, Hon Kirwa has stated that a lot of toxicity within the inner circle of the party made him join Azimio la Umoja One Kenya team.
"I left the party because there was a lot of toxicity within the inner circle, so I joined my colleagues in Azimio la Umoja team," said Hon Kirwa.
