As 9 August 2022 general election approach politics is gaining weight each day. Difference political slogans are holding series of rallies across the country. On the other side difference companies are holding survey to determine a candidate who might be the winner when August comes.
Politicians running for a variety of positions are currently quite active, renting out their platforms and pleading with voters to back them. Millicent Omanga of the United Democratic Alliance party and Esther Passaris of the Azimio la Umoja Kenya Alliance are in a close race for the Nairobi woman rep seat. The two are running for office under the banners of Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance two powerful coalitions in Kenya.
Kenyans.co.ke has done an online survey to find out who Nairobi residents think would make the best senator. There were 2758 Twitter users involved. Polls show that Millicent Omanga is in the lead with 66 percent of the vote. This demonstrates that Millicent will succeed to the crown if elections are held today. With 34% of the vote Esther Passaris is in second place and in the rear.
Between the two candidates a significant gap exists. Reaction to the post has increased. The majority of online users agree with the surveys that Omanga is the best. Some of the comments are listed below.
