Lang'ata MP Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o is one of ODM members who were kicked out of the party for meeting President Ruto at the Statehouse without Raila's consent.
He tried to explain that he met the president for communication about development in his constituency but Raila affirmed that it was betrayal and they had to be kicked out.
While speaking during a funeral on Saturday March 18, Jalang'o revealed another reason why it was important for him to meet president Ruto.
That he wanted to learn from Ruto the tactics of winning elections all the time and he may apply them in future should he decide to run for presidency.
Jalang'o said that he is hopeful he will be the first Luo President. That he is ready to use Ruto's tricks including the alleged rigging so that he becomes president like him.
He said as reported by Tuko, "There will be protests on Monday and you have asked me why I have gone to William Ruto's side. I went to learn why Ruto has never lost any election... What are the tactics of rigging elections? If he is rigging now, how will I rig myself in? Because the first Luo President will be none other than myself, Jalang'o. One day I will be declared the president of Kenya and you will remember this day."
