After the committee tables approval report, the whole house then debates and votes to uphold the committee's decision or overturn it
Speaker Justin Muturi made the call for the sitting in a Gazette notice on Monday. The lawmakers held two sessions, one in the morning and another in the afternoon and came to an agreement of qualifying Madam Martha as Chief Justice.
During her vetting, Madam Martha pledged to restore harmony and end bad blood among the judiciary, executive and the Parliament.
