Raila Amollo Odinga made his first stop in Narok this weekend after touring from the neighboring country of Uganda. Odinga held a grand rally at OLe Ntimama Stadium, this was his second day in Narok County. The following accompanied him: Kitui Governor Charity Ngilu, Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, Former Gatanga Mp Peter Kenneth, and Junet Mohammed of Suna East.
Raila promised Narok residents the following if elected as the next president. First, he assured the residents of free education from lower primary up to the university level. Second, under the Baba Care Program Raila promised the residents that each Kenyan resident would be assured to get an NHIF card to cater for their medication. Thirdly, he reminded the residents about the Social Protection program granting 6000KSh to families living in total poverty. Another agenda he had for the people was about infrastructure.
However, during his speech, he was interrupted by the chants from the residents, who wanted to gift him a statehouse symbol. Raila received the full-built state house art along with his running mate, Martha Karua. From the video, it was clear and evident that the residents had endorsed Raila Odinga as their next president.
