As the clock ticks clock ticks towards the August 9 general election, the top policians are busy campaigning in various parts of the country. The Azimio La Umoja-One Kenya Alliance is one of the top political faction competing to form the next government.
Today, the Azimio running mate Martha Karua received a huge back up from Mt Kenya region teachers. Karua toured the region to sell Azimio's political ambitions. She however received endorsement from teachers who agreed to support Raila's presidential bid jn the forthcoming General election.

Endorsement in Kenyan politics is a great move towards a win as it increases the leaders influence in a particular region.Taking to her twitter account, she expressed her gratitude to the teachers saying that being a daughter of a teacher, she will ensure that their interest is upheld. 
Teachers make up the largest number of civil servants in the society distributed across the country.
