As the Kidero petition challenging the election of Hon. Gladys Wanga as governor of Homabay County entered its final stages on Monday, the outcome of the review and recount of votes remained uncertain.
A trustworthy source claims that the court has given Justice Roselyne Aburili till March 7th to prepare her ruling. The former governor of Nairobi also charged Hon. Gladys Wanga in the petition with interfering with his campaigns and obstructing the delivery of his platform to the public.

Additionally, he stated that Gladys Wanga's party leader had every right to advocate for her, notwithstanding Raila Odinga's denials that he had any involvement in pressuring people to vote for his party's candidates. Nevertheless, it has come to light that during the recounting, agents had trouble locating several ballot boxes because Kidero's attorney claimed the attached boxes had fallen off. On January 10, Justice Roselyn will announce the outcome of the case.
