Rivalry In ODM Intensifies As Top Leaders Send A Stern Warning To Simba Arati For Bringing Confusion

Rivalry in the Orange Democratic Movement party Kisii region has intensified after top leaders led by governor James Ongwae, senator professor Sam Ongeri, and women representative Janet Ongera sent a warning to a team led Dagoreti south constituency member of parliament Hon. Simba Arati.

The team held a meeting at the Kisii agricultural training centre where they discussed Arati's new moves to open parallel party offices without consulting the county's leadership.

They asked Arati and his team to respect them and do everything according to the party structure, they further challenged all the aspirants for various seats eying the party ticket to strictly follow the the party rules adding that they are welcomed for competition against each other but they should not bring confusion in the party.

Simba Arati has intensified his activities in the region, he has been criss-crossing the county to sensitise residents to get registered as voters, this has always been done parallel to another team led by Ongwae, Arati is eying Kisii gubernatorial seat against professor Sam Ongeri.
