Moses Kuria Expresses Concerns About President Kenyatta When 2022 Reaches

Gatundu south Mp Moses Kuria has expressed concerns about the willingness of President Uhuru Kenyatta to retire when his term in office expires in 2022.

Speaking moments after his PEP candidate George Koimburi won the Juja constituency seat, Kuria has said the events of Tuesday night have cast aspersions as to whether Kenyatta will retire in 2022.

"What happened yesterday (chaos in the tallying center) make me concerned if indeed President Uhuru is ready to retire in 2022." Kuria said.

"Am asking the president to come out in the open and condemn the incidents of yesterday, to exert confidence in Kenyans that they will not happen in 2022." the Gatundu south lawmaker added.

On Tuesday night, IEBC was forced to suspend the counting of votes in Juja after Kiambu Governor Hon Nyoro stormed the tallying center with goons claiming the exercise was marred with voter fraud and rigging.
