Speaking in a meeting held on Wednesday, the leaders who were comprised of MPs and MCAs agreed on cleaning up the Party in an attempt to give it a new face.
They affirmed that incapacitated leaders must be removed from the leadership and be replaced with effective leaders.
Kieni Constituency MP Kanini claimed that the party has been failing due to poor leadership insisting that these leaders must be delt with.
Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo claimed that there are many ways to get the task done but they will approach the issue from bottom to top.
"There are nine ways off a skinning a cat, you can start from the bottom or the top but this time around the cat will be finally skinned," he said.
The clean up exercise is scheduled to end by 30th August.
Kirinyaga County Governor Anne Waiguru had earlier on made the same demand adding that youths should be considered in renewal of the party leadership. She called for a total restructuring of the party claiming that it was the only way to resuscitate the party.
