Deputy President William Ruto has taken his hustler campaign to Mount Kenya again. This time, he is in Nyahururu to launch different projects which aims at improving the livelihoods of the locals. The locals have accorded him a very warm welcome and thousands of them had UDA t-shirts and banners flying.
The second in command has been empowering different groups in different counties and even presiding over fundraising in aid of building churches. His generous contribution in fundraising events has been magnanimous and this has led to questions being asked by his competitors.
Dr Ruto has really mastered the art of moving crowds. His meetings are always attended by thousands of supporters and many of them will always promise to support him in the next years' polls. The former prime minister and OKA leaders are seen to be Ruto's competitors judging from the highly publicized meetings they have been having.
The Deputy President has always talked about the Bottom up economic approach he will use if he is elected the president and his hustler narrative has really resonated well with the people.
