MP Speaks About Ruto's Kenya Kwanza Government

In the course of his appreciation for President William Ruto, Mukurwe-ini Member of Parliament John Kaguchia stated that the Mount Kenya area is a component of the Kenya Kwanza government.

According to Kaguchia, the region now has the impression that it is a part of a government, but in the past, they had the impression that they were excluded by the many governments.

According to the member of parliament who was speaking to Citizen, residents of Mount Kenya have the perception that this government represents them because President Ruto has been paying attention to their concerns and collaborating closely with the individuals who are in charge there.

Since Ruto has been collaborating with leaders from Mt. Kenya, Kaguchia is optimistic that the region would prosper under the Kenya Kwanza government.

"People in the Mount Kenya region have the impression that this government is theirs; in reality, for a very long time, we have not felt as though we were a part of the government as we do right now. The member of parliament stated that this time around, "we feel as though we own this government because we have a President who respects us, we have a President who consults us, we have a President who has our ear and works closely with us as a region."

MP Kaguchia went on to say that other politicians from the region will work toward uniting Mt. Kenya under a single political umbrella so that they can receive the full benefits of the government.

"Our region needs to have a full say in government. According to what was stated by the vice president, we have thirteen percent of the population that did not vote for Kenya Kwanza. Kaguchia continued, "We want to provide the 13 percent an opportunity to work with William Ruto."
