Deputy president William Ruto on Monday spent his morning with top women leaders at his official Karen residence in Nairobi.
In the list of the leaders who the deputy president William Ruto has said attended the event, Kirinyaga county woman representative Honourable Purity Wangui Ngirici was not present.
However, her main competitor governor Anne Mumbi Waiguru was present and got a chance to seat next to the second in command at the main stage.
Apart from the Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru, top MPs led by Jayne Kihara from Naivasha Town Constituency, Millicent Omanga who is a nominated senator as well as nominated Isaac Mwaura, Patrick Wainaina Thika Town MP and George Theuri the MP Embakasi West were also present.
Other MPs are Nixon Korir who is the Lang'ata Constituency Member of Parliament, Benjamin Gathiru the MP Embakasi Central, James Gakuya the MP Embakasi North and Simon Mbugua who is the MP of the East African Legislative Assembly.
The Law Society of Kenya President Nelson Havi and also former Starehe MP Bishop Wanjiru were also invited to the top event.
