Azimio la Umoja presidential candidate Raila Odinga has appointed Prof. Isaiah Kindiki as one of his chief agents for the August 9 general election.
While announcing the appointment of Prof. Kindiki shortly after being cleared by the IEBC to vie for presidency, Raila said that the scholar will work alongside Paul Mwangi ( Raila's legal advisor), ODM Executive Director Dr Oduor Ong'wen, Nyeri Deputy Governor Dr Caroline Karugu.
Raila's chief agent for the August 9 general election will be lawyer Saitabao Ole Kanchory.
Prof Isaiah Kindiki is Tharaka Nithi Senator Kindiki Kithure's brother. The Senator was on Saturday appointed as Deputy President William Ruto's Chief agent for the August 9 general election.
The two brothers are all professors and have found themselves on the opposite sides of the political divide.
Prof. Isaiah Kindiki is a renowned scholar in the field of agriculture while Prof. Kithure Kindiki is a lawyer by profession.
