Many politicians from the ODM camp have become rebellious to ditch the party and even criticize the leadership of the party. They have gone ahead to expose the weaknesses of the party claiming that ODM is no longer influencial as it used to be.
It is alleged that Raila has lost grounds and convincing Kenyans is not easy for him in 2022. Many coastal leaders have been seen to show their ingratitude to the chief of ODM who has supported them for long. Hassan Joho, Aisha Jumwa and Kingi are some of the legislators who have openly dumped Raila.
Barely a week ago, Hassan Joho declared his interest to join the race in 2022. He claimed that the coastal people have supported him and his ODM party for long and it is time for him now to support the leaders from the coastal region. Joho also claimed that if Raila fails to endorse him then the coastal people will show him what he has never expected from them.
However, at the heated debate on the presidential race, Aisha Jumwa has today given Joho a tough condition for his presidency. Speaking at Nyali in a function attended by other Tangatanga allies and Ruto himself, she said that if Joho intends to be the president of this nation then he must first denounce his support for Raila and abandon his camp completely.
Jumwa said that Joho must come out clearly and fight like a real man and not the drama he wants to create in the country. Joho must stamp his authority and not acting like a lady she added.
Her remarks made Kenyans react as some claimed that if Joho ditches ODM will he be allowed to vie using the UDA party?
