Mutula Kilonzo Jnr Breaks His Silence On legalization of Bhang Debate

Today, September 23 in an interview with Radiomaisha, The Makueni Senator Mutula Kilonzo Junior hinted out that he'll strongly and sharply disagree with Ledema Ole Kina motion that champion legalization of marijuana in the country.

“legalization of bhang? I will oppose that motion, our country is indiscipline and if we decide to legalize for medical use, our indiscipline people will abuse like the way they're abusing now ”, he said.

In a video shared by The Narok Senator Ledema Ole Kina on his Twitter handle, he was filmed walking around bushy marijuana farm as Ledema's voice is heard praising the farm.

“Why are we still stuck in old ways of saying that this is an illegal drug, this is crazy, if it is good to reduce the pain of cancer, why not legalize it, what is so bad about it? ”

“If this weed is good for us, let us legalize it, if it is not good then lets not allow other people to plant it ”, he added.

The leaders that initially championed for the legalization of the Drug among them the late Ken Okoth, Mike Sonko and former Kibra aspirant McDonald Mariga.

The countries that have already legalized marijuana for medical use are; Jamaica, South Africa, equador and Canada just to mention a few.
