The residents of Bondo who have accepted the reality of Raila Odinga losing to the deputy president William Ruto are clear that such was never expected. The people of Nyanza generally expected Raila Odinga to be elected in round one based on opinion polls but tables turned.
The people are shocked that today Raila Odinga has once again joined the opposition despite him enjoying the support of government and machinery. It's clear to the people that Raila's defeat was not in their minds rather it came as a shocker.
Raila Odinga has however vowed to challenge Ruto's win at the supreme Court and it's a matter the people of Bondo are waiting for. People are hopeful that Raila Odinga might win the supreme Court and still win the election.
