Top Rift Valley politician has sent a cold message to ward representatives ahead of their battles with their Governors. This is in accordance with the Constitution whereby MCAs have power to initiate impeachment of their Governors supposedly they fail or go against the law

According to Narok Senator Ledama ole Kina, he has admitted that MCAs have more powers than Governors whose key role is to provide oversight of their respective counties but can be impeached by MCAs. With this, Ledama has asked the MCAs from Maa Community not to blackmail their Governors.
As for the Governors, he has warned them against bribing ward representatives with fears of being shown the door by them before the Senate takes over the impeachment session
"An MCA has more powers than a Governor but please don’t black mail… and you Maa Governor’s don’t bribe your MCA’s," read a message by the ODM based Senator Ledama ole Kina
