Dr Fred Matiang’i while taking to his official verified facebook page said that like all the people Ol-Moran and areas across Laikipia need an environment where they can go about their daily businesses and enjoy peaceful nights without interference.
The cabinet ministers vowed to spend most of his time in the region to ensure that the armed assailants are flushed out.

That is what we will deliver. We will spend our time here until everyone is safe and secure." Dr Fred Matiang’i posted on his official Facebook page.
During his tour to the region, the interior Cabinet Secretary said that the affected areas will be placed under one administrative district called Kirima to enable security patrols.
Matiang'i said the move will also led to the development of another police base at Ol Moran with more security officers to man and boost security, with Ol-Moran remaining as the headquarter for Kirima sub-county.
Dr Matiang’i while Speaking to the locals on Friday said the government will review and implement several protocols alongside training of police officers in the area to boost security.
