Duale says that as per the article 138(10)(a) of the constitution of Kenya, it is well stated that within seven days of a presidential election, the chairperson shall declare the results of the election. As per this dictation, Duale says that the constitution gives mandate to only one person, the chairperson of the IEBC to declare presidential election results. This means the action by the four IEBC commissioners is not legal.
Aden Duale adds that the constitution always speaks for those who care and listen to it. According to him, freedom has dawned and it's upon Kenyans to exercise.
