Kipchumba Murkomen Speaks Few Minutes After Raila Rejects Presidential Elections

A few minutes after Raila Odinga of the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Alliance and four IEBC commissioners disqualified William Ruto, the winner of the United Democratic Alliance presidential primary, in separate press conferences, Kenyans and political leaders across the spectrum have reacted in various ways.

The Kenya Kwanza Alliance, which supports Ruto, claims that the presidential tallying was transparent while the Azimio wing claims that the results were rigged to favor their candidate.

Raila referred to the IEBC chair's results as void and declared that he will seek court intervention to ensure that the country's president was duly elected.

According to the four poll agency commissioners, the final results would have been compromised because the overall count of 100.01 percent surpasses the obvious tally.

Raila's team and the commissioners were working effectively, according to Ruto ally and Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, who asked the two teams to come together and "exchange notes."

"Raila and one of the four alienated IEBC Commissioners, Azimio, had the same source material for their statements. Since everyone in Kenya and overseas tallied the results on a public website, let the Commissioners and Azimio team release their numbers collectively or separately " Murkomen Tweeted
