Francis Atwoli Fires Back On DP Ruto Claims That He Has UDA Party On Standby, Delivers This Bad News

Central Organization of Trade Unions Boss Francis Atwoli has fired back on Deputy President William Ruto's recent claims that if the Jubilee party will not work for him, then he has a new outfit that he can join namely the United Democratic Alliance delivering bad news to the team.

In a report via the Standard, Mr. Atwoli has said that leaders should stop thinking that political outfits are the solution to cling to the Presidency adding that they should also not be cheated that parties will give them a direct ticket to seat on the negotiation table.

According to Atwoli, political outfits are not enough to make any leader a President.

“People think that if they have a party then they will have to sit on the high table. First and foremost, you must have people. People can from the party but still tantamount to nothing,” he said.

Revealing about President Uhuru Kenyatta's plans after been witnessed having a meeting with a section of leaders from different regions across Kenya, the Cotu boss has defended the head of State from claims that he is creating Regional Kingpins explaining that the President's focus now is on the Building Bridges Initiative [BBI].

“I don’t think Uhuru has any plan to undermine anybody, his focus now is on the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI). The problem we have is that there are people who want immediate results. Politics is not like that. It is like rainfall, when it pours, the water will find it is on course,” he added.

Mr. Atwoli has been a major critic of DP Ruto including been on the record alleging that he[Ruto] will never be the President of Kenya come the year 2022.
