Being on of the Mountain Kenya region election, Rurii Ward election was a litmus test between the ruling party Jubilee and the United Democratic Alliance, a party that is affiliated to the Hustle Nation. The journey towards searching for the Member of County Assembly for the Rurii Ward has not been easy.
The Hustle Nation has been working tooth to nail to see that their leader have got a chance to lead the people of Rurii Ward for the remaining period of time before the 2022 general election. And true to their anticipation, the wish is about to be granted, as One Francis Githaiga has been leading in many of the pooling station Rurii.
In Matuura Primary school pooling station, Francis Githaiga was able to get two hundred and sixteen votes leading in the pooling station. It is also believed that such a scenario has been witnessed in other pooling station within Rurii Ward.
Celebrations are underway as voters have broken into songs and dances in anticipation of their own winning and as they awaits the official announcement of the results by the presiding officer. May the best candidate win.
