Mourners went into a frenzy this afternoon at chepseon the home of Isaac Ruto after UDA politicians from bomet county endorsed isaac ruto. the two leaders who are close allies of the deputy president threw their UDA candidate for UDA under the bus saying Isaac Ruto deserved to lead the Kipsigis community.
Nominated MP Wilson Sossion who was a UDA candidate for the Bomet senate, and the incumbent senator Christopher Langat while making their speech said despite party differences they believed that Isaac Ruto was best placed as compared to the UDA candidate Hillary Barchok.
The Bomet governor Hillary Barchok was not among the leaders who attended the funeral service.
National assembly speaker Justin Muturi, Narok governor Josphat Nanok, Elgeyo Marakwet county senator Kipchumba Murkomen. All Kericho leaders and MPs drawn from across the 5 constituencies in Bomet county were among the attendees.
