
Tanzanian's Vice President Samia Suluhu is expected to be sworn in today as the country's sixth president.
This is after the sudden demise of President Magufuli after he succumed to heart disease.
Samia is therefore set to become the country's first female president and will have a difficult task of uniting a country that has seen some members of the opposition flee over political persecution.

The Daily Nation has today established Samia's first mission as Tanzania's president.
According to the Daily Nation, immediately Samia is sworn into office today at the country's state house in Dar es Salaam, she will tomorrow chair a crucial meeting for her Chama Cha Mapinduzi party.
She will use the meeting to chose the next vice president of Tanzania.
The vice president will then be presented to the House of Representatives in the country where a decision will be made by the Members of parliament whether to accept him or not.
