People of Matungu Constituency had a chance to decide their next member of Parliament in a by election held on Thursday twenty twenty one following the death of MP Justus Murunga in November twenty twenty. Party leaders held serious campaigns in the region with Raila Odinga endorsing David Were while counterpart Ruto's being Alex Lanya.
According to a recent tweet by a former member of parliament and a senator in the region, he revealed that results are already streaming in and that it is impressive. It is evident from the replies that Orange Democratic Movement is currently leading followed closely by United Democratic Alliance.
