Deputy President Ruto is eyeing the presidential seat and he has been campaigning to ensure that he strengthens his position ahead of 2022 polls. However, Ruto has found himself in the middle of the dilemma after endorsing Gachagua to be his running mate ahead of the 2022 polls simply because Karua is now giving him sleepless nights in the mt Kenya region.
It is revealed that since Martha Karua was nominated as Raila's running mate, she has managed to complete 30 political meetings in the mt Kenya region and the recent opinion polls showed that Karua is leading.
Deputy President Ruto has to deal with the Karua factor in the region and he has set a series of political rallies in the Mt Kenya region to ensure that he porpulize himself ahead of the 2022 polls. Deputy President Ruto will follow Karua's footsteps in the Mt Kenya region where he will have to dilute Karua's agenda and also sell the agenda of Kenya Kwanza in the region.
