The ruling party, UDA's, Secretary General has responded to defiant cries from colleague Kenya Kwanza coalition parties Amani National Congress (ANC) and Ford Kenya.
The parties released a statement clarifying that they will not heed to calls being made by UDA party through its newly appointed Secretary General to have them fold up and join them (UDA).
Following such conflicting statements from the three founding Kenya Kwanza parties, Kenyans started speculating of a brewing fallout in the ruling coalition.
The former Kakamega senator has now come out to dispel the ongoing speculations that Ford Kenya, ANC and UDA parties are not reading from the same script.
According to him, there is no any cold blood between them despite the viral rumours. The founding parties of the ruling coalition are at peace with each other, thus no cause for alarm from supporters.
Soon after assuming his new responsibilities, Malala ignited the conversation on party merging, as one of the steps to make the ruling party stronger ahead of the 2027 elections.
