Governor Kahiga and MP Gachagua have been summoned by the court alongside other two county officials to testify in ongoing inquest into death of Late Nyeri Governor Wahome Gakuru.
Governor Gakuru died after he was involved in a fatal road accident on 7th November 2017 alongside his personal assistant, bodyguard and driver.
The Late Governor died following a fatal road crash at Kabati along the Thika-Sagana highway in Murang’a County.
Kahiga who was, at the time of Gakuru's death, deputy governor is said to have uttered controversial remarks on the condition of the vehicle Gakuru used on the day of his death
