His rally will be a joint rally with leaders of ANC, FORD KENYA, and the UDA party in Mwea, Thiba North Grounds in Kirinyaga County.
However, Governer Waiguru affirmed that the planned rally will happen as it was planned at Thiba grounds and not Wang'uru stadium as earlier proposed.
Ruto's rallies since he parted ways with President Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018 have been marred with difficulties restrictions to holding rallies being one of them.
Waiguru despite the alleged 'System' operatives refusal to hold rallies at Wang'uru stadium on Saturday will not hinder them from holding the third earthquake from the county.
She also went ahead to inform that the people of Kirinyaga County are ready to host William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula at the venue.
"Joined with MPs, MCAs and other leaders from Kirinyaga to affirm that H.E. Deputy President William Ruto's Saturday rally in Mwea will continue despite unwarranted refusal by known "system" operatives for the event to be held at Wang'uru stadium.
We the people of Kirinyaga, will host HE DP William Ruto, Hon Musalia Mudavadi and Hon Moses Wetangula for another Earthquake rally, in Mwea Thiba North Grounds, on Saturday 29th January, 2022. Karibuni sana," Waiguru said.
Deputy President William Ruto, Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula are expected to use the platform to receive defectors from the County into their respective parties.
However, since System was mentioned by Ann Waiguru, we therefore wait until the real date to see how Politics in the region will play out against the system.
