Photos have emerged of himself enjoying roasted maize and later paying the trader as he interacted with several others during the high profile event.
"President William Ruto, DP Rigathi Gachagua enjoy ‘mahindi choma’ They were talking to small-scale traders popularly known as 'hustlers' during the launch of the Hustler Fund at Green Park, Railways in Nairobi"
President William Ruto will today officially launch the Hustler Fund, one of the main planks of his campaign.
It was his biggest gamble, and its implementation — just like its ideation and banking on it for his presidential election — is proving to be an even bigger gamble.
State House Spokesperson Hussein Mohamed has said that the Hustler Fund will bring to an end the exclusion of poor Kenyans from accessing financial services.
The Cabinet on Tuesday approved the launch of the Hustler Fund during the third Cabinet meeting chaired by President William Ruto.
In the top event, he is being accompanied by his close allies among them His Excellency the deputy Head of State Rigathi Gachagua and his cabinet counterpart CS Musalia Mudavadi.
