Embakasi East Member of Parliament Hon Babu Owino has come out and admitted that President William Ruto outsmarted the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya Alliance during the August 9th general elections.
The vocal lawmaker said that he met with the head of state in Parliament where President William Ruto asked him if he still believes that he is the president of the Republic of Kenya. In response, Babu Owino told him that he outsmarted them.
Babu Owino also said that President William Ruto is a sharp man and they cannot underrate him. This comes as Babu Owino insists that he can not believe that they lost the August 9th general elections.
During his previous interviews, the Orange Democratic Movement MP revealed that he was set to serve as either the Cabinet Secretary of the Ministry of Education or Interior should Raila have won the elections.
However, he was forced to continue serving as the Embakasi East MP after President William Ruto was declared the duly elected President by the IEBC, and his win was certified by the Supreme Court of Kenya.
All attention will now focus on the Azimio la Umoja to see how they will challenge President William Ruto in the upcoming 2027 elections.
