“I can’t betray the president” Natembeya now says.
Many Kenyans have been curious to know Natembeya’s party of choice after he decided to join politics.
Natembeya who was previously Rift valley Regional commissioner has come out to reveal his choice of party as he begins his campaigns for Trans Nzoia Governor seat in the coming elections.
During an interview with a local radio station, Natembeya said that he is fully on the side of the president Kenyatta and will swing whichever side the president goes.
“Mimi nimefanya kazin pamoja na Rais, siwezi kuanza kulose principles na kurukaruka. Apana itakuwa betrayal kwa Rais wangu akiniambia niende pande hii, na mimi niende pande ingine,” Natembeya said
He also revealed that before he resigned, he had consulted with the head of state as well as Interiar CS Fred Matiangi who all supported him in his aspiration to seek elective position.
