Tomorrow on Thursday, most governors elects will be sworn into office to start their work for the common people. Across the country most counties have been preparing for that awaited occasion.
In Kisii county, the new governor elect hon Simba paul Arati will be sworn in as the second governor after James Ogwaye finished his two terms.

In the last two decades the county has been using heavy budget in preparing for the event which takes less than 6 hours. In this year preparations the county had allocated a budget of ksh 57 million for the event. However the income governor has slashed the budget to 3.5 million.
"The budget that had been set aside for assumption of office after my election was sh 57 million. I have slashed it to sh 3.5 million," said Kisii governor elect Simba Arati.
In the interview with local radio stations, Arati said that he wants the money projected to productive matters such as health sector.
However he said that the TV advertisement is the only which will go up by ksh. 600000 because they had already placed for live coverage.
