Kabogo Sends Sad News to Ruto as he Warns Raila Over His Journey to Climb Mount Kenya Ahead of 2022

The former Kiambu Governor William Kabogo on Thursday joined ODM leader Raila Odinga's convoy during his visit to the county.

The Tujibebe Wakenya party leader dismissed Ruto's call to Mount Kenya Region to fold their parties stating that gone are the times when the country relied on a single political party and that the region will not give in to such calls, or read from the same page with leaders advocating for dissolution of parties.

"We are not in to folding our parties, we have had enough during what happened in Jubilee," he said.

Kabogo who in past several interviews hinted that he could be on the presidential race warned Raila against the people who are claiming that they are out to help him climb the mountain.

He alleged that some of the MPs had already lost touch with the ground that they were using Raila's tours to engage with the people and further revive their political muscles, and that they could be of no use to his bid in the long run.

The one term governor failed to endorse the former Prime Minister but urged him to request the president to exempt Kenyans from paying taxes for the remaining days of this year.
