MASHUJAA DAY: Uhuru Under Pressure To Remove Curfew Ahead Mashujaa Day Fete

As Kenyans celebrate their 57 Heroes and Heroines day, to recognize all the men and women who have done all the great work to ensure that our country prospers, many people have high expectations from the president on a number of issues. However, the most burning issues are the cost of fuel and the long imposed curfew hours.

Since the wake of Covid-19 last year, the president took a bold step to impose curfew in order to reduce contact hours between people. This would help reduce the risk of Covid-19 spreading.

The curfew has lasted more than a year now. And as Kenyans mark the last Heroes day with President Uhuru Kenyatta, They have rallied their plea to the president to remove the movement restrictions now that a good number of people are coming out to get a jab.
