With less than six months remaining for Kenya to held her general election, the politians have been defecting from their parties to the new ones. UDA and ODM have received many defections to their camps with ANC and Jubilee suffering a major blow as many leaders have left the party with jubilee highly suffering.
Raila has obtained the endorsement from Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta and the Ukambani Governors including Kivutha Kibwana, Charity Ngilu and Alfred Mutua but it's not clear if Raila Odinga will even fetch forty percent of central votes even he has got endorsement from the president. Ruto also has been endorsed by Musalia Mudavadi and Moses Wetangula together with the majority of the Mount Kenya leaders.
Both of them will take horns on each other in Muranga County in Mount Kenya senetarial and gubenatorial races as both of them have fielded their candidates on their respective parties. Irung'u Kang'ata who is currently the senator for Muranga County is vying for the gubenatorial seat under UDA ticket while Dr. Pius Kinuthia is vying for the senator under ODM ticket.
Its now questionable if Dr. Pius Kinuthia can gather even ten percent of Muranga votes since ODM Party together with its prefect are rejected in the entire Mount Kenya region. On his Twitter account today morning, Dr Pius Kinuthia has tweeted that he has the possibility of clinching to senetarial seat ahead of Kang'ata in that county.
"Inawezekana" Dr Pius Kinuthia
