Ruto is currently in Kitengla while Raila is in Vihiga. The two top contenders for the presidency today held separate meetings that brought together mammoth crowds that turned up to listen to them. This is a clear testament that 2022 the numbers factor will be key in determining who will clinch the top seat in the polls.
Raila who was accompanied by area governors has continued to reiterate that his push towards 2022 is to bring much-needed change and sanity into the country. The governors also echoing his sentiments and fully backing his bid for 2022.
Ruto on the other hand has continued with his gospel of bottom-up with clear indications that he will not attend the much-publicized MT Kenya forum saying that he is committed to the people of Kenya and not tribal alignments that seek to gain from common citizens.
