Trouble In KKA Camp After Alfred Mutua & Ali Roba Defy Ruto's Political Directives

It will be fascinating to watch if there is dissent emerging inside the Kenya Kwanza Alliance as a result of President William Ruto's most recent political order.

This follows the confirmation of rumors that the former county governor of Machakos, Hon. Alfred Mutua, and senator of Mandera, Hon. Ali Roba, have resisted Ruto's demands that they dissolve their political parties and join his UDA Party.

Alfred Mutua dismissed any rumors that his MCC Party was breaking up, as well as any comments that might be interpreted as an indication of yet another political conflict, according to a report published by the Nation Media on Sunday.

The UDM Secretary General David Ohito spoke on behalf of Ali Roba on his Pary, stating that the Party will remain in place and that there are no plans to dissolve the Movement. CS Kuria is said to have written to Anne Nderitu earlier, requesting that his Party be dissolved, at the time this is happening.
