Just after being announced as the winner of the August 9 general election, United Democratic Alliance party leader Dr William Ruto has alleged the position that Raila will enjoy in his government. During an interview with the press, William Ruto said that a government without an opposition leader is not responsible and can not work swiftly.
He then said confidently that Raila Odinga will be the official leader of opposition in his government. As per the sentiments of president elect William Ruto, he is not ready to handshake with Raila Odinga as witnessed in 2018. He said that Raila must be the leader of opposition so as to help the government run swiftly.
He said that as a leader of opposition, he will enjoy some goodies from the government. With this he is confident to deliver and work as the president of the republic of Kenya. Ruto will soon be sworn in with the relevant authority.
