Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru Sentiments Hours After President William Ruto's Interview On National TV

Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru reacted through his official twitter page after president William Ruto's interview on the National TV on the state of nation.

According to him he was disappointed with president William Ruto's sentiments on the GMOs food which has raised eyebrows among Kenyans.

"I apologised for thinking that nabii William Ruto who claims to be a PhD holder in botanical studies should have given a more convincing and scientific justifications why Kenyan should consume GMOs". Said Lawyer Ndegwa Njiru.

During president William Ruto's interview on National TV he claimed that most of the foods we have been importing are GMOs and that he has eaten GMO food many times.

A section of Kenyans protested when cabinet secretary for Trade Hon Moses Kuria said that the Kenya Kwanza government will allow duty free Importation of GMOs maize and rice into the country.

Remember that Raila Odinga and his allies are on record that they will not allow president William Ruto to Import GMO maize into the country.

The biggest problem with GMOs is the terminator element in seeds. Seeds which can not be replanted, can not grow without fertilizers, need spraying to grow well and can not be stored long with preservatives. GMOs are easily weaponized food by Western monopolies.

Do you support president William Ruto's plan to allow the GMOs food into the country despite Kenyans rejecting the ideal of importing GMO foods? From president William Ruto's speech it is clear that his administration have already concluded that to allow GMOs maize into the country from next month.

It's now a matter of wait and see what happens in the coming months if president William Ruto's government will allow the importation of duty free maize into the country or not.
