The Deputy president and his main rival Raila Odinga have recently been visiting the Mount Kenya region to lure the residents of their Votes ahead of 2022.This is the region which both Raila and Ruto are battling for. The business tycoons in the region on weekend headed by SK Macharia hosted the former Prime Minister in Muranga.
Deputy president on the other side have sleepless nights seeking support from the region. His latest result in the kiambaa by-election have motivated him. United Democratic Alliance party candidate won against the ruling Jubilee Party.
According to The Star Kenya the Deputy president is expected to visit Tharaka Nithi and Embu Counties tomorrow.It will be a two day Visit where the DP is expected to market his bottom-up economic model.This come just a few days after his ally in Mount Kenya region Alice Wahome was seen fumbling on Citizen TV show. She was not in a position to explain what the bottom-up economic models. Deputy president will use this opportunity to rectify this embarrassment.
