"Ruto Anahitaji Anyang Nyong'o 2022" Mutahi Ngunyi Reveals Why

Renowned political scientist Professor Mutahi Ngunyi has opined that Kisumu Governor, Professor Anyang’ Nyong’o is the only person that Deputy President William Ruto needs if he is to head anywhere with his bottom-up approach.

Ngunyi poked holes at the model favoured by DP Ruto, stating that his (Ruto’s) experts did a poor job by crafting something they have no idea about and opined that the Kisumu governor who is an accomplished economist would e of great help.

“Ruto might be sincere regarding wanting to empower the people, but his model is sincerely wrong” Ngunyi stated.

In his regular show on K24, the political scientist behind the tyranny of numbers prediction of a Uhuru Kenyatta victory in 2013 and 2017, unpacked the bottom-up approach, poking holes at it yet still giving DP Ruto the benefit of doubt that he could be sincere about empowering Kenyans, despite having been in power for more than eight years, most of which he spent politicking.

“Ruto might be sincere regarding wanting to empower the people but his model is sincerely wrong. If history is anything that will bear us out in this that A. B, his model is incompetently put together and this is partly because he has gotten people who do not understand Marxism or the Marxist model because Bottoms up is a Marxist model.

“If you want to do it then you and look for hardcore Marxist like Angany Nyongo and he will give you something like you have never seen” Ngunyi added.

The model has been the subject of discussion in recent days with DP Ruto’s allies such as Kandara MP Alice Wahome, making a fool of herself on national TV when he could barely explain something that he has been shouting about every other day.

Ruto’s critics have also pointed out that the second in command has no clear way of how Kenyans will be lifted out of poverty and is hollow, at best and a fallacy that is only meant to get Ruto elected despite having been the deputy president for more than eight years, when he spent most of the time politicking only to realize at the last minute that Kenyans need empowerment.
